We start with what you can already do, not the certificate you hold.
The SRA is our in-house diagnostic. It measures the competence you have demonstrated in real life, maps it against recognised national job roles, and turns it into a personalised training pathway. It was built for the people that standard aptitude tests get wrong.
Most assessment tools used in India are calibrated for candidates who hold formal credentials, have an unbroken employment history, and are comfortable with English, screen-based tests. That leaves three capable groups mismeasured, judged on what they lack on paper rather than what they can actually do.
First-generation job seekers from Tier 2 and Tier 3 institutions, whose real strengths never appear on a transcript.
You compete on what you can do, not on the ranking of your college.
People returning to formal employment after an extended absence, whose years of managing a household are real, transferable work.
An employment gap becomes a demonstrable base of competencies.
Retiring and retired service personnel making a civilian transition, whose command experience rarely reads on a civilian resume.
Service experience finally translates into recognised job roles.
The SRA runs as a single sequence and produces a training pathway specific to where you are starting from.
A structured self-report of 30 to 40 items that captures what you have demonstrated in non-formal settings.
A 15-item instrument that identifies how you learn best, and your comfort with digital and offline formats.
Your competencies are mapped against NSQF job roles across 22 sectors, using our own crosswalk to Levels 3 to 5.
A scoring framework produces your ranked role matches, your specific skill gaps, and a recommended pathway.
It begins with what you can demonstrably do, not with the qualifications you hold or the gaps in your history.
It is designed for three learner profiles that do not appear in the norming samples of any commercial Indian assessment tool.
The output is a training plan specific to your starting point, not a generic score or rank.
The SRA framework, its competency items, the sector fit crosswalk, the learning modality instrument and the scoring logic were designed in-house by the founders of Amogh Prayas. No part is licensed from or derivative of any commercial product. It draws on publicly available NSQF Qualification Packs as reference for the crosswalk only. The framework is currently in pilot in Gandhinagar, and documentation is being prepared for copyright registration under the Copyright Act, 1957.
Whether you are starting out, restarting, or transitioning, the SRA gives you an honest, personalised place to begin.
